GNU Free Documentation License AP American History and AP European History? Q. Next year these are my classes: English Honors 2 Geometry Honors Biology Honors AP American History French 2 Art 3-D (It's required otherwise I wouldn't be taking it) Child Developement AP European History Is it okay to be taking AP American and AP European History at the same time? I'm not really concerned with the AP part, but just that they are complete opposites of each other. Should I take American and European? Or will I mix them up? Etc? If I shouldn't take them both at the same time my other options are: Volunteer Public Service (So I can get community service hours for scholarships) German 1 Astronomy Physics 1 Aerobics Beg. & Int. Arabic 1 Any suggestions? Asked by Cahhrazy. - Fri May 16 17:09:29 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. There is nothing wrong with taking them at the same time, but the tests at the end of the year will kill you. I took the AP US history this year and I was fried for the rest of the day. Plus, the people who set up the tests put the dates of the test on the same day too. You would be taking one four hour test in the morning and about a half hour later, take another one. It would not be worth it. Astronomy sounds like a blast though. I'm signed up to take it next year. I agree with Holly except on #3. I think the time was the beginning of liberation for white women. The Civil Rights movement hadn't made much progress in the South, so it's not the minorities. White men had their run throughout all of American history. The 50's marked a time where women had proven they could work during WWII and were entering the work force for the first time in large numbers. They had earned the right to vote in 1920 and were putting this and their new-found confidence to use.
