The Brazos Valley is a region in the U.S. state of Texas (Central Texas) consisting of Brazos County, Robertson County, Grimes County, Washington County, Burleson County, Madison County, and Leon County, with Brazos County and the cities of College Station and Bryan at its center. Although the Brazos River lies at the center of the region, not all areas of the region are a part of the Brazos watershed. The population of the region was estimated to be 278,696 in 2003 by the U.S. Census Bureau. It covers 5,109 square miles. It's about 1/4-1/2 and inch long, silver, skinny, not segmented, has one pair of antenna on its head and then another set of what looks like antenna on its rear. I have looked up many insects and the closest thing I can find are earwigs and silverfish, but unlike the silverfish I've seen, this does not have three "rods" on the rear, but only two (I only looked for a second so I COULD be mistaken but I don't think so).
