If you steadfastly refuse to answer the census, eventually you will have census takers AND law enforcement authorities showing up at your door with a warrant to seek and find the answers. As long as you're spiritually, physically, financially, and emotionally prepared and you're both in love with each other then you can get married anytime you want. You should bear in mind that marriage is a lifetime relationship and it is not quite like spitting out something that you've discovered to be too hot to swallow. Best of luck!
